Half way done with this pregnancy!!!

I can't believe that 20 weeks have past so fast. I had an ultra sound on Monday and I still have a little boy growing in there, and they said that he is very large for the age...which means that I'm on track to have a 12 lb pumpkin baby on Halloween!!

Super right???

Yeah NO.

I'm glad baby Colby.. (Oh, yeah that's the name we've picked out) is growing big, strong, and healthy in there but seriously?? 12 lb is just a little too much for my body to handle. So, I guess they will do another ultrasound at 32 weeks and see how the little guy is doing in there to see if he can come out and play early!! Soooooo ok with this since I was really wanting a September baby!

Any who, moving is going...boxes every where, Conner is freaking out about it because his would is turned upside down. And the bridal shower is day after tomorrow, it is coming together great and I think the bride to be will love it!! Will post pics when I get a minute!

OH MY>>>>> Just realized that I never blogged about my sons second birthday. I don't know what to say, he ran around like a freak on crack, ate cake, and opened presents. It was a great time for all that came. I wish that I had pictures to show just how much fun was had....but being mother of the year, I didn't take any. So sad about that, I think I put Max in charge of picture taking and then forgot to tell him of his duty. But, on the up side my mom got some great shots, and I know the Budd family never goes anywhere with out their camera so it's not a total loss!!
Buying a house if for the birds!!! After almost a month of driving all over the greater Portland area, Max and I have finally gotten a home of our own!! It is a fully remodeled 3 bedroom ranch. I'm in love with it and can't wait to get all moved in. I will most likely be a blog no-show for a month or so, with the move going on, and being the matron of honor in a wedding next month. I have parties to plan, houses to move, panic attacks to be had and all the while growing a baby in my tummy!! Yeah me!! Will post when/what I can!

Conner had his fist "official" hair cut today!! I found this place called "little clippers", so cool for kids to get their hair cut at. There are all kinds of toys to play with before/after you get your hair done, there is even a video gaming area for the bigger kids. Before they sit you down to cut your hair you get to pick out a video to watch while they are choppn' away. This place doesn't just have regular chairs for the kids to sit in, nope, they have cars with steering wheels and horns!!! Once Conner was done they bagged some of his hair for me and printed out a certificate of his first hair cut!! All this and it was only $10...so going back there!!!
Here is before:

During...he did not like the clippers! And after...so grown up!

Now, I'm not trying to brag or anything but sooooo excited about this!!!

Since becoming pregnant I have lost three pounds!!! I was a "little" on the thick side since giving birth to Conner...baby weight is a bitch to get rid of!! When I was pregnant with Conner I put on a whopping 65 pounds, and only lost 1/3 of the weight. (the day I delivered I weighed more than my husband, not a good thing)!!!

So, when I became prego once again I vowed that I would not gain an ounce, just stay at the same weight. I mentioned this to my Dr and she said that it was not necessary since I'm not obese, but doable since I was still packing around a few extra pounds from my first child. With this pregnancy I also have some serious motivation to stay on the "smaller" side. I am the Matron of Honor in my BFF wedding come July. She picked out the dresses and ordered them before I found out that I was going to be with child at her wedding. I feel like this was a huge blessing because if she had waited I would have told her to get a dress that I could "grow" into. But this way I have to fit into the dress that fit me prior to pregnancy.

I may have lost some weight but my belly is playing tricks on me... One day I look like I'm seven months pregnant and the next day you can't even tell I am...case and point....

here is a picture from Wendesday

and here is today: WTF!!!

Well, I'm off to the gym to work off a few more calories!!!!!@!!

Well, I had a ultra sound today and we found out some exciting news!! We found out that we are one week farther along than we originally thought!! So, they changed my due day to October 31. I guess I have a pumpkin growing inside me!! The doctor also said that there was a little penis growing in there!!

So weird to think, I have a penis growing inside me!hahaha!! Here are some pictures of the little pumpkin!!

I THINK I may have felt a kick in there!!!! It could have just been gas but I pretty sure it was my little bean sprout saying "hi mom, I'm in here"!!! I have been waiting and waiting to feel a little bump-bump for what feels like forever. Feeling Conner "kick about" was my favorite part of pregnancy with him, and I can't wait to feel more little reminders that this on is in there also!

I know that Conner can't possibly understand that I'm pregnant, or that he has the big responsibility of being a big bro soon. But, I swear on some level that kid understands. When Max asks him "where's the baby?" Conner comes running up to me, lifts up my shirt and points to my belly. Also, if you ask him to give the baby kisses he plants a big wet one on my tummy, so stinking' cute! Any time we are out and about where there is a baby Conner looks at it with such interest and asks "what's that" then tries giving each one a kiss on the forehead. Yep, he is going to be the best big brother since my brothers!!

So, the sunflower seeds did not help my scrapn' abilities. I just sat there for 45 minutes starring at my supplies and chewed on the seeds. I finally became frustrated and not to mention dehydrated, and gave up on the whole thing. I may never scrapbook again.

I have however found my new favorite thing to do with my free time. For Max's birthday he got "Rock Band" for his 360, and oh Lord is it not the most fun I've ever had. Max and I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning rocking out together!!

We are dieing to have friends over to play with us!! So, if you are up for the challenge hit me up!!
Until then...ROCK ON!!!!!!!!

OK, I have a confession to make. For those of you who know me really really well this will not be much of a surprise, but for those of you who think you know me will find out that you may not know me as well as you thought...

I have not scrapbooked in a month. No, that is not the BIG confession, it is my confession that in turn made me unable to scrap.

In order to explain I must give all of the facts here. It all started back in ninth grade at North Valley High School in the senior locker bay...I had my first "chew". You know, "chew", the stuff hicks put in their lip then periodically spit thick black crap out of their mouth. At my school many people chewed (or dipped) even the cheerleaders. My dippn' habit started out just for the buzz, but then the buzz was gone but I still did it for some reason. In college I dipped at least two times a day for about four hours each time. I never needed the chew, like a smoker need a cigarette every hour. Nope, my chewing habit was strictly for specific occasions. I found that chew helped me concentrate on studying, helped me focus when playing super Nintendo, kept me awake on long car tips home to Grants Pass, and also helped me relax when I painted my nails.

Well after college my chewing habit was pretty much gone since I no longer needed to study. I would have one maybe once a month. But, about six months before I became pregnant with Conner I got really into scrapbooking. I had to have my drug of choice while doing my craft of choice. Obviously, though, once I found out that I was pregnant with Conner I stopped chewing, which also made my scrapbooking stop.

After Conner was born I did not start the habit back up for a LONG time, I mean seriously, what mom chews???? But then about nine months ago I started scrapbooking again, and you guessed it I had to have the chew to help me focus. Now that I am again with child I had to stop both of addictions.

I really want to get caught up on my books before this baby is born. So, I looked to the wonderful world of baseball for inspiration....I got my self a bag of sunflower seeds, some new scrapn' supplies and I'm hoping it will work!!!

I truly hope that there will never be another "dip" in my mouth, and I can have amazing scrapbooks!!!!

I love that after knowing my husband for five years I can still learn new things about him.

Take today for instance, I discovered that he has no problem wearing pink. I happened upon this little find by accident, and he was quick to remove it from his body, but non the less I saw it. Apparently Max had ran out of clean socks, so he went rummaging through my sock drawer for a pair that would work for him. Well, he found a pair alright, a pink pair. After I discovered the said socks on my mans feet I began laughing uncontrollably and asked "why that pair"? I have a plethora of all white socks that would have worked also. He did not respond, only ripped the socks off and yelled "shut up" and burrowed himself into the nearest hiding spot.

The other great, yet very strange, thing that I learned today was that if you tickle his left hip bone it makes his neck itch. I'm not sure what that means but it was funny to watch!!

I'm sure that we all have hidden little things that only come out for those very special people in our lives. I'm so happy, and blessed to have such a special guy in my life who always keeps things new and well, different!!

This baby, or my belly is growing at record speed. At nine weeks it is only the size of a grape, yet it looks like I'm smuggling a cantaloupe.

OK, so I know that I have been a bad blogger lately, and for that I'm sorry. But I think that I or you would be even more sorry If I would have blogged these last couple of days. The blogs would have been so boring that you would have wanted to shoot your self for reading them. Seriously, I want to shoot myself do to the uneventfulness (is that a word??) around here!

To day is Maxies birthday, and surprise we're not doing anything for it. He is sleeping and will leave for work at 9pm. He did celebrate his birthday this last weekend with his boy's, so don't feel too bad for him!

Um, yeah, I think that catches you up to date!!

Conner had his game face on at the egg hunt...

He walked away with a good amount of eggs...He got some side-walk-chalk-paint in his basket, and painted grandmas side walk for her!He was very happy with the finished product...We picked grandma some flowers and Conner loved the smell of them...And Mommy even got a kiss!!!!!

funny little happenings around here this week...

#87,234,245 reason I love my husband...

Last night, as I was getting ready for our "date night", Max decided that he just couldn't wait for the restaurant. So, he let me know that he was going to make himself a "snack". I shouted "fine" from the bathroom, and also let him know that we were going to do the "activity" part of the date first then get food. Well this idea must have sent pure panic through his man brain. Thinking "crap, I'm not going to get food for a few more hours? I better stock up now while I can, I may die before we ever get to the restaurant". Now I don't know about you, but a snack to me is a hand full of something...a hand full...if it fits in your hand it is safe to be called a snack I'd say. But, if you have to combine ingredients, put them on a plate, and warm them I would consider this a meal. Well, apparently this is a snack in Max's book. Not only did he make a "meal" but, guess what he made......Bologna tacos....THREE!!! Have you ever heard of bologna tacos?? Yeah, me either, well not at least until last night. I think they would be very popular with the type II diabetes category. How you make them...Get your bologna, then get two-three spoon fulls of mashed potatoes (including butter & cheese), then roll them up and put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and enjoy. Gotta love the way a mans brain works!!

Next, not really funny, more sad really....

I had my first doctors apt. today. I went in with the confidence that #1 I was pregnant, and #2 I was eight weeks along. Any one who has had kids knows that the first trimester is pure hell, well mine has been no exception. I was happy to be at the eight week mark because this meant that I only had four more weeks to go until the second trimester....Well, the nurse did confirm that there was a baby in the tummy. But then the doctor did a internal ultrasound and said that I'm only six weeks along. Damn it all to hell....That means that I have six more weeks until the second trimester??? Dear Lord help me!!!

And last, my son's a ladies man and your daughter's a whore....

Since day one Conner has gotten a lot, and I mean a lot of attention from the ladies. And he loves every minute of it, returning the "oh, what a cutie" with a big hug for every stranger we come in contact with. Well, today at the gym was no exception. Usually when we go to the gym we get stopped by women who look like they should be playmates of the year. All of the big haired blonds with fake breasts know my son by name, and each get a big hug and slobbery kiss when we see them. Today Conner had two girls fighting over him in the kids gym area. These girls were not pin-up material, well not yet anyway, they were only 2 years old maybe one day... As I was walking into the kids area after my work-out to get my little guy I see two little girls with a death grip around my sons shoulders and waist. Each of the pigtail wearing monsters were pulling in opposite directions and yelling "it's my turn, it's my turn". Are you kidding me??? People get control of your daughters, boys have gotten a lot of slack in the past as the ones who get the Innocent girl into trouble, but I know the truth...girls are whores right from the start, so tell them to keep their hands off my son!!!

This pretty much sums up how we are all feeling around here...Like the back end of a horse!

Only seven weeks into this pregnancy??? really? only seven weeks??? I have how much longer to go??? aawww crap.

My first pregnancy, with Conner, was a breeze. I remember it like a distant dream with warm moments of feeling him wiggle inside. Never disliking anything I ate, there were zero headaches, and he never told me that I have to sleep...NOW. But this little seven week old fetus has attitude. It decides for me when to eat (and what), sleep (almost 24 hours a day), and has given me a constant headache.

I'm guessing this one is a girl simply from the symptoms that I'm having. She is trying to be the pushy one in this relationship...and she is winning! I may have felt this way with Conner and may have just blocked out the bad memories, in which case I plan to do with this one and try to remember this pregnancy fondly...hey, it could happen!

Erica has come and gone already. I did not get to see her too often, since she was here for work. But, when we did see each other it was non-stop excitement of flowing conversation. Her and I can talk, and did, until 6 in the morning and still have more to say but go to bed only because we know it is the responsible thing to do (we also, often times, have 4-6 hour long telephone conversations)! I love that we get each other the way that we do! I wish I could put her in my pocket and take her with me every where! Oh, and damn the luck, I again got no pictures of us together. Her and I have decided that we are always too busy to stop to take a picture of us having a good time together...more important things to do like: Invent things, talk about the best adhesives for various crafting needs, the components of a great lip gloss, various bowl movement happenings, who we think we are deep down and why we are that way (usually our mothers fault)....I could go on till 6 am, but she's not here so I'll cut it short.

Today was clean out overhaul!!! Max and I did some spring cleaning today. We took two car loads of stuff to Goodwill and posted a ton of stuff on Craigs list.

I love that everyday I learn a new lesson, well not really me learning per say, more Max learning and me standing back and watching the whole process. Case and point: We have mass amounts of stuff to post on Craigs list, since Max is more technical than I, he was in charge of posting the said items. He was getting frustrated with me because he thought that I was pricing things too high. So, for the last item I said "fine you figure it out!!!! But, keep in mind the the person who gave us this does not buy cheap things!!!" So he posted this bike for $35

Within 5 minutes the bike was out of our home and into the new owners arms...a very gitty happy owner. And then we proceeded to receive phone calls for the bike for the rest of the evening, having to let people know that "sorry it is already sold". And undoubtedly getting a sad "lucky person" response back.

So, in light of the fact that the bike was the only item that got any interest, I asked Max if he took my advice and did any research on the brand of bike..."um, no I just..." So I jump on the computer and look around a little...guess how much these babies are going for used???? $250-300.....ARE YOU F-ING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW????

*SIGH* Lesson learned...again...Max will listen next time, and that my friends is why I love him!!

Is it to soon for me to start the "nesting" part of my pregnancy?? For those of you who know me, I am a clean freak...I clean just because I like to, every thing has a place and every thing is in it's place.

Well, now that I'm prego, once again, my need to clean is more intense. I want to go through all the closets and get rid of just about everything we own, just so I can see a nice empty closet!!

I have also began to fret about decorating the new little ones room...I don't even know what the sex is yet...OK, Megan, slow down you have nine months to get it all together.

I'm still hard at work on my scrapbooks. Here are a few for your viewing pleasure....

And since everyone wanted pages about Max...here is the first one! He was all smiles when he saw the finished product. There isn't a picture of him on the page, but it is about the night we met. I just happened to have a picture of me and a friend from that night, so I included it!

This one is of the car accident Max got into three days after we met!

Feeling o-so-prego today, always hungry, feels like my boobs have been used as punching bags, could sleep for 24 hours and still be tired, always thirsty, and no matter how much I eat nothing seems to be coming out the other end!! Oh the joys of pregnancy!!

Got to hang out with my belly buddy Abbie and my favorite little girl, Olivia, yesterday!! Conner and Liv had fun fighting over toys and wrestling around! Conner even put the moves on here at the end of the night while they were watching movies on the couch together!!

I’m back in the land of the living. It has been quite a weekend. I spend two days at the scrapbooking convention. Sooooooooo much fun! I got to meet a famous scrapbooker…Ali. Here is a picture of HALF of the loot I walked away with! I forgot to take a picture after the second day, but just imagine this picture times two!

It was awesome to see that I’m not the only woman who freaks out about this stuff, I actually heard a few screams and squeals of excitement from women around me when they found a goody they’d had their eye open for. I must admit that I also was one of those women who screamed and jumped around more than once when I found something amazing. I also got a little sweaty and panicked when there was only half an hour left of the show, I actually ditched my friend with my mom so I could grab as many more things as I could!

I’m so worn-out from walking around the convention center for two days and being pregnant on top of it that I don’t even have the energy to use my new supplies. Going to rest up tonight and hit it hard tomorrow!

My momma got some great things too and got to spend a little time with Conner in between scrapn'!

Conner started Gymnastics on Saturday, I think it is about the cutest damn thing I have ever seen. Here is him walking on the low balance beam!
